- Leave the area alone for at least 24 hours, avoiding rubbing or massaging the injection site
- Avoid any strenuous exercise for at least a day or two after treatment
- Avoid the consumption of alcohol for a few days before and 24 hours after injections
- Reschedule any skin treatments for a few days post-treatment, including microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and facials
- Understand that bruising and swelling are normal around the injection site and will often resolve on their own
